The caregiver role

Full-time, part-time and PRN positions, working one-to-one in someone’s home with people living with memory loss and the families around them.

• Hands-on personal care — bathing, dressing, grooming — with patience and respect for each person’s dignity
• Meals, light housekeeping and medication reminders
• Company, and a familiar, steady presence
• Noticing and responding to the behaviors and needs that come with memory loss
• Clear notes after every visit, so the family knows what happened

Hours vary by family. Some need a few hours a week, some need much more, and we’ll be straight with you about what a schedule looks like before you take it.

What we're looking for

• 3 to 5 years of caregiving experience
• Dementia, Alzheimer’s or memory care experience is a real plus, but not required
• A calm, patient approach, especially when someone is confused or upset
• A valid Idaho driver’s license, a reliable vehicle and auto insurance
• Current CPR certification and a negative TB test
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. and the ability to pass a background check
